The project demolishes a poorly built stables conversion and replaces it with a highly sustainable new single storey house, which approaches passivhaus standards.
The new house is highly insulated, built with an insualted passive raft foundation slab and utilises insulated concrete form (ICF) walls, which are highly insulating and provide the house with thermal mass for great temperature stability.
