We have just received planning permission for a large rear and side extension, 2 storey extension to a detached property in the Green belt which has been refused planning by a previous architect for a different design. We have achieved a 66% increase in volume to the original house. Our client came to us with a reduced scheme which we are working on but we suggested applying again to maximise the potential so a future buyer could extend further if they desired. Having realised this for them, our clients who are retired wish to refine the property and future proof it to their needs which we are currently designing together.
