Robert Hales

Robert Hales BSC(Phys), BSC(Hons)Arch, Dip Arch ARB RIBA

Robert studied at the Bartlett School, UCL where he completed his BSc (Hons), Diploma and subsequently gained his professional qualifications in 2003 (with a commendation in his Part 3). Before embarking on Architecture he studied BSc Physics at Edinburgh University.

Robert has worked for a number of award winning practices in London on a wide range of projects. From 2008-2015 Robert was an Associate Director at Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.  During these years he worked on many large scale residential projects and led the LDS team working on the London 2012 Olympics. Robert previously worked at Nicholas Hare Architects in Islington on large scale commercial and education projects.

At Sturgis Associates in Shoreditch Robert worked on a variety of commercial refurbishments and retro-fit residential projects in London.

Robert’s broad commercially-led experience, in offices, education and new build schemes, provides additional skills for the office.  Robert left LDS in October 2015 and has since been working along side Sarah at HMDA.
